Change

We stay with what we know

We stay within our comfort zones

What possibilities lie beyond our reach

Have we even desired in our hearts for more

Why would status quo be good enough

Does it make us secure

Where does our security lie

Does it come from familiarity

Or does it come from God Almighty

The time for change has come from God

It is his will , you know

To open our hearts and minds to him

So that all of God’s church can grow

Where does this desire for change come from

It comes from his Spirit within

No man can ever deter his will

His plan is an eternal one

To bring his children home at last

To a place of eternal happiness

I cannot wait to see his face

More brilliant than the sun

It fills my heart full of joy

This is where it all comes from
