Come and see the beauty of the LORD and hear his voice. Come and listen to him sing songs of love over you. Come rest in his loving arms and receive his joy. There is no better place to be than here with me receiving my comfort and my songs of love for you. My melodies are strewn with love and measured succinctly with all that you need. Grace upon grace upon grace is sewn together like a crown I place upon your head.
You wear my crown of grace upon your brow. I see you and delight in you and receive you as you come before my throne. You are acceptable in my presence; a beauty to behold. You bow in service and it pleases me to bless you. Returning to me gives me such pleasure and I delight to meet with you. The robe of my glory surrounds you. You are my treasure and delight. Be here with me and delight yourself in me and bring me your sacrifice of praise.
Block out all others, thinking only of me. Remove the daily duties and tasks of your day and focus solely on my glory. My glory will transport you and bring you closer to me. Receive from me and I will pour into you. I will bless you with all that you need from one day to the next. You can count on me to give you rest. You can count on me to comfort you and encourage you to be your best. I created you and know your full potential, so rest in me to provide all that you need.
2 Corinthians 3:18 TPT
18 We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus.[a] We are being transfigured[b] into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another.[c] And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.[d]
Footnotes:
- 3:18 The Greek verb metamorphoō is the same word used for Jesus’ being transfigured on the mountain (Matt. 17:2; Mark 9:2) and for our transfiguration through the renewing of the thoughts of our minds (Rom. 12:2).
- 3:18 The source of our transformation comes from Christ’s glory, and the destination we are brought to is more glory. The transforming glory is the result of gazing upon the beauty and splendor of Jesus Christ.
