Apart from me you can do nothing. I must remain in you and you must remain in me. There are many things that must be accomplished as we carry out throughout this year. Trials and tribulations will come and press against your life and I must be at the center and forefront of your thoughts. Let your mind be my mind and your thoughts my thoughts. Lean not on your own understanding but press in to my will at all times. Many will say, “I do not know you.” They will fight against my will, but I will be with you until the end of their accusations. They do not know of what they speak because they do not know me as you do. They live in a stronghold of fear. Pray that their eyes would be opened and the floodgates of my love would flow in. Fear has run rampant among my people and they don’t even know where to begin. They need to come to me and lay their burdens at my feet. Teach them to know me and press in on a daily basis. Teach them there’s nothing to fear.
Resurrect the ways of YAHWEH and make it clear for all to hear my cries of love for them. No man is an island meant to survive by himself. Show them the ways to fellowship with me and with one another. Show them true koinonia – the love of a brother or sister poured out for one another. Run from the ways of the enemy and run into my arms of love. I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life and I will show you the way. Come to me with everything you face and lay it here before me. Let me guide your thoughts and clear the way before you. How good it is to be free of the burdens you carry and know you can release them to me. I will teach you how to walk without these burdens and carry my light yoke upon you. Remember I said it is easy – not hard or difficult to carry – so continue to come to me and I will teach you, my ways. When you carry things by yourself everything seems weighty and heavy, but the moment you come before me with all that weighs upon your mind, I will give you my rest and peace of mind. It is a transaction of hope and it is my gift to you.
