Cast all your cares upon me and let me fill your heart and mind with my desires. Let my glory flood your heart and mind and fill you with hope divine. Let nothing come in between us and break the bond that completes us. My blood was shed for you for that very purpose. Fill your heart and mind with my Word day and night to keep you saturated with my Truth that will fight off the attacks of the enemy. It is my Word that the enemy cannot deny and by my Word he is pushed to the side, so my presence may abide. Let my Word permeate your being and satisfy your soul. My Word completes you and makes you whole. Study my Word and let it saturate your thinking until you see it for yourself and believe it within your heart. This solidifies your mind in mine and you and I become one.
Let my Word and my promises become more of who you are instead of worldly desires that surround you each day. Let my promises cover your mind and help you think in a whole new way. My promises are true and forever, they never fade away. What was spoken in the past is still true to this day. You can count on me each and every day to fulfill my word to you in a brand-new way. Don’t let your hope fade away by the cares of this world that come your way, but renew your mind in my Word each day.
Let this be your act of obedience each day giving your mind permission to think in elevated thinking every day. Do not conform to the ways of this world, for it will lead you astray and into a darker display. You can have the mind of Christ and see things from my perspective if you walk in my Word each and every day.
Romans 12:2 New International Version
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:2 The Passion Translation
2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you,[a] but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.
Footnotes
- 12:2 Or “Don’t be squeezed into the mold of this present age.” Paul uses the Greek word aion which means “spaces of time” or “present time.” The Aramaic word carries the same idea but it is much deeper in meaning. The Aramaic word is ‘alma, which means “to surround” like being surrounded in time. Paul is warning us not to be conformed to this world surrounded by time, this temporal world coming to an end. We are not to be squeezed into the mold of this world system that is falling apart.
