Come to me and I will comfort you as nobody can. I will fill you with my wisdom and lead and guide you in all your decisions. I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life that leads you through the darkest night into the brightest day. As you seek me out with all your heart, you’ll see more and more how to operate your life every day. Come to me for all your answers you’ve been searching for. Wait in my presence and spend time in my Word and my Counselor will lead you in the right way.
Shield yourself from the wrong influences that would lead you astray. There are forces at work to lead you down a darkened path, but you won’t follow them if you stay close to me. I will guide you and help you to know which path to take each and every day if you come to me daily and make time to pray. Listening to too many voices but not listening to mine, will lead you to a place of confusion that will mess with your mind. Give your thoughts over to me to sift through and clean out the things that do not unite you and me. I am the answer you’ve been searching for; I am the truth and the way.
Follow my lead; wait and watch me move. See me, watch me, and listen to my voice. As you practice being in my presence, following me becomes an easy choice. You think of it as a chore because you haven’t experienced the more of me that I freely offer to you. There is more of me than you could possibly comprehend but ask me and I will bless you to no end. I will open my floodgates wide for you as you seek me out with all your heart, mind, soul, and spirit. My love and passion for you is endless.
Proverbs 4:23 The Passion Translation
23 So above all, guard the affections of your heart,[a]
for they affect all that you are.
Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being,
for from there flows the wellspring[b] of life.
Footnotes
- 4:23 The Hebrew word levav is the most common word for “heart.” It includes our thoughts, our wills, our discernment, and our affections.
- 4:23 Although most translations have “the issues of life,” the Hebrew word yasa is actually “seasons,” especially springtime. Out of your heart flow the seasons of life. It is our hearts, not our ages or circumstances, that shape the seasons of our lives. If our hearts are tender to God, we can live in perpetual springtime.
