Come to me when you are weary and have much on your mind. I am the one you can bring all things to and receive rest for your mind. Storms and chaos are not from me, but in me, you have all authority. Do not mistake me for the one who destroys, for that is the enemy’s way of causing harm. You have the authority to calm every storm and tell it to be calm, just like my son. You are righteous as you are covered by my son’s blood, so why would I bring destruction upon your head? There is no reason to fear or to be filled with dread when you are covered by my blood and have my Spirit within you. When storms arise take authority over it and command it to be quiet. It must obey as you put all your trust in me. Take my Word seriously and put it deep within your heart. Remember that nothing can come against you when I dwell richly within you.
Remain in me and I in you and we shall never be apart. We are connected by a covenant bond and nothing shall come against you as you remain in me. My love for you is eternal and will remain always. Look to me for all your guidance in your thinking. Never let your mind go astray down to the devil’s level of thinking, but keep your eyes on me. I will lead you and guide you into all truth, and the truth will set you free.
Come to me all who are weary in your thinking and I will guide your thoughts on the correct path of thinking. My path leads you on a freedom trail, but the enemy only wants to drag you into his own Hell. He will lead you astray, but I will teach you the ways of YAHWEH.
Renew your mind in my Word daily, never let it stray from your path. Constantly be seeking out what I have to say on that subject, and you will be filled with my Light. Come and look deeply into my Word. Let it saturate your soul and mind and cleanse you of unrighteous thinking. Line your thoughts – each and every one of them – up to the Light of my Word. See your thoughts for what they are and see where you’ve gone astray. See the thoughts that have come from your own flesh, and the thoughts that have come from me. Which one’s lead you into victory and which one’s lead to death?
Do not give in to your old ways of thinking. Those ways are a thing of the past. My ways lead you into higher thinking that lead you to a place of victory. Release your worries and fears over to me and I will bless you with my peace. My peace I give to you freely as you ask in accordance with me. My Shalom peace will cover you each day as you walk in the ways of YAHWEH.
Shalom – Shalom is a Hebrew word meaning peace, harmony, wholeness, completeness, prosperity, welfare and tranquility and can be used idiomatically to mean both hello and goodbye. As it does in English, it can refer to either peace between two entities, or to the well-being, welfare or safety of an individual or a group of individuals.
John 16:33 New International Version
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Mark 4:35-41 The Passion Translation
35 That same day, after it grew dark, Jesus said to his disciples, “Let’s cross over to the other side of the lake.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, the disciples got into the boat in which Jesus was already sitting, and they took him with them. Other boats sailed with them. 37 Suddenly, as they were crossing the lake, a ferocious storm arose, with violent winds and waves that were crashing into the boat until it was nearly swamped.[a] 38 But Jesus was calmly sleeping in the stern, resting on a cushion. 39 So they shook him awake, saying, “Teacher, don’t you even care that we are all about to die!” Fully awake, he rebuked the storm and shouted to the sea, “Hush! Be still!”[b] All at once the wind stopped howling and the water became perfectly calm.
40 Then he turned to his disciples and said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Haven’t you learned to trust yet?” 41 But they were overwhelmed with fear and awe and said to one another, “Who is this man who has such authority that even the wind and waves obey him?”
Footnotes
- 4:37 This gale of wind and ferocious tempest was demonic in nature, as Jesus was about to confront a powerful principality on the other side of the lake. (See Mark 5:1–20.) Jesus would not have rebuked the storm if it was from God. The devil knew that if Jesus crossed to the other side, he would cast out the demon horde that had long terrorized the entire region.
- 4:39 In Aramaic, the language Jesus spoke, it is “Peace. Submit to the will of God!”
Matthew 11:28 New Living Translation
28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.
