The wind blows, it howls, it whispers, and it sends forth my Spirit across the land. My Spirit is with you wherever you go. My Spirit dwells within you and will never let go. You are mine and I love you so. I want you to be aware that my Spirit never wanes or loses control. I direct my Spirit to work in different ways within each and everyone of you. Let me direct you in the way you should go, always growing and desiring to grow. Let me lead you and take you by the hand and show you things you may not understand. I will show you how things work and I will show you how to live in the ways of YAHWEH.
My thoughts are higher than your thoughts and my ways are higher than yours, but my Spirit will lead and guide you in the way you need to go. Ask me and I will lead you on the path that has been designed for you. I have much planned for you and new adventures await, so come to me and let me guide you and I will speak my instructions to you. I will show you my highest plans for you and lead you in every step that you should take. Come and sit with me and listen to my voice speak to you in the quiet of the day. Tune your ear to hear my voice only in a loud and busy world. Let only my thoughts penetrate your thoughts and close off everything else vying for your time.
What is it that you seek? What is your heart’s desire? Why do you scramble around looking for answers when you can just come to me? I will lead you and guide you into all truth and there’s no need to search elsewhere. I am the way, the truth, and the life you so desire to live. I am what holds you together. I am the living river of life flowing through your veins. Everything you are is made up of me. Submit yourself to my river flowing within you and let me bring you back to the life you’re intended to live.
Come to me on bended knee and surrender your life and time to me. Surrender your thoughts and feelings and give them over to me to sort out. I will help you shape your thoughts and keep them aligned in my truth and love for you. I will never lead you down a path you don’t want to go. Fear holds you back from things you don’t know. I will never lead you to do things I didn’t design perfectly for you. What lies ahead is good and perfectly laid out for you to discover. Look to me to discover your new adventure.
Ecclesiastes 11:5 New Living Translation
5 Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.
John 3:8 The Passion Translation
8 For the Spirit-Wind blows as it chooses. You can hear its sound,[a] but you don’t know where it came from or where it’s going. So, it is the same with those who are Spirit-born!” [b]
Footnotes
- 3:8 The word for “blow” can also be translated “breathe.” The word for “sound” can be translated “voice.” And the same word for “Spirit” can also mean “wind.” If our new birth is so mysterious, how much more will be the ways of living each moment by the movement of the Holy Spirit? One can understand how confused Nicodemus was, for he took everything at face value and couldn’t see a deeper meaning.
- 3:8 Or “The Spirit moves you as he chooses, and you hear his voice, but you don’t know where he came from or where he goes.” The Aramaic is so rich and multilayered in this passage. Perhaps it could be paraphrased as “The wind, the breath, and the Spirit are moved by mysterious moods and in their own wonderful ways. When you feel their touch and hear their voices, you know they are real, but you don’t understand how they flow and move over the earth. The same mysterious way is the way of everyone born by wind, breath, and Spirit.”
Isaiah 55:8-9 New Living Translation
8 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
Revelation 22:1 New Living Translation
Then the angel showed me a river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb.
