Come rest here with me and do not dwell on the things of the past. The past is behind you and I am forever in front of you. I am always with you no matter what you do or say. I love you always and for all eternity. My love is not conditional based on your actions, but my love has been with you for all generations. Nothing can keep me from loving you, not even your denial of me. Your actions and your choices do not dictate how much I love you, for I have loved you from the beginning of time and for all the time that is before you. I am beyond space and time but I use these terms for you. My love is infinite and set upon you. You are mine and I will always be with you.
Come rest and share your heart with me. Let me clear your mind of the clutter left behind from days gone by. This is not who you are anymore, for you are a new creation in me, cleansed, forgiven, and set free. You don’t live in the past; you live in the now and I am with you here and now. Ask me, and I will cleanse you and forgive you. This doesn’t mean that these things are wiped clean from your memory. Your thoughts are up to you as to what you will entertain. Ask me to give you my thoughts and dwell with me in the heavenlies. Do not let your mind be stuck in the things and pleasures of the past, but come up here and learn to live your life in me.
Come and rest and let me teach you how to live victoriously in me. You are mine and you have already attained victory by believing in me and walking with me. This act of faith and commitment to me guarantees your place with me. You’ve already made your choice, now the rest is a daily decision to keep in step with me. It’s not easy, I never said it would be, but if you make the choice each day to resign your will and follow mine, I will lead you to victory each time. Point yourself in the direction I want you to go. Keep your feet on my path and you will never go wrong.
