Be still and know I AM God. Be still in my presence as I make my will known to you. Let me refresh your mind and spirit with the words I have to say. Let me call you to my side and make my will loud and clear so that there is no misunderstanding of what I’m about to say. Stay with me a while as I speak to you regarding the things happening in our world. This world is mine as much as it is yours. I care about what is taking place, for these are my people on both sides of the fence. I have made everyone in my image and they are mine.
My will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. My will must take place. It was my will to send my son to the earth and be sacrificed for your good. You are with me now all because of what he did for you. Things looked grim as his disciples watched him suffer and die for nothing that he did. He was the perfect, sinless, sacrifice, for the forgiveness of your sins. What looked like tragedy in your eyes was the propitiation for your sin. What looked like disaster and seemingly the very end – was only the beginning and not the end.
Look harder at the situation at hand. What you see is a play on a stage for the whole world to see. What you see taking place before you is not what you think. Prepare your heart for what is to come. For many will tremble in fear, yet their eyes will be opened to the great and numerous sins taking place behind closed doors. A shift will take place and cause many to not know what is going on, but it will be my hand that makes the next move to uncover what’s been hidden for centuries past. Great fear will come to the hearts of many, but that is because they do not know me. They do not spend time getting to know my character and know that I would never cause my people to tremble in fear. I will guard you and protect you no matter what comes. Know you are in my protective custody and no one can snatch you away from me. Difficulties will come and go, but my hand of protection will never leave you.
This move of action is not the end. I have so much more planned for you. Your focus and attention must be on me and me alone to help you navigate these strange shores. Where you are going and where I am taking you is where you’ve never been before. So, looking to me and me only is an absolute necessity. You will not know what is coming or be prepared for it, unless you spend the necessary time alone with me in prayer, meditating on the things I bring to your mind. Stay in my Word, reminding yourself of the Truth and stay in a position of prayer so that I may speak My Words to you. This is the place you need to be as my will unfolds before you.
Propitiation – The act of appeasing wrath and conciliating the favor of an offended person. In theology, the atonement or atoning sacrifice offered to God to assuage his wrath and render him propitious to sinners. Christ is the propitiation for the sins of men.
Psalm 46:8-11 New King James Version
8 Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has made desolations in the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow and cuts the spear in two;
He burns the chariot in the fire.
10 Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!
11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah
Psalm 46:8-11 The Passion Translation
8-9Everyone look!
Come and see the breathtaking wonders of our God.
For he brings both ruin and revival.
He’s the one who makes conflicts end
throughout the earth,
breaking and burning every weapon of war.
10Surrender your anxiety.
Be still and realize that I am God.
I am God above all the nations,
and I am exalted throughout the whole earth.
11Here he stands!
The Commander!
The mighty Lord of Angel Armies is on our side!
The God of Jacob fights for us!
Matthew 6:10 New Century Version
10 May your kingdom come
and what you want be done,
here on earth as it is in heaven.
Hebrews 9:14-15 The Passion Translation
14Yet how much more will the sacred blood of the Messiah thoroughly cleanse our consciences! For by the power of the eternal Spirit, he has offered himself to God as the perfect Sacrifice that now frees us from our dead works to worship and serve the living God.
15So Jesus is the One who has enacted a new covenant with a new relationship with God so that those who accept the invitation will receive the eternal inheritance he has promised to his heirs. For he died to release us from the guilt of the violations committed under the first covenant.
