Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Rest your hearts here close to mine. Let me speak my words of life into your mind. Come and spend your time with me and rest you head upon my knee. Here is where your rest and calm can be found. Enter my presence and seek me where I may be found. Nothing is complicated with me, but everything I offer to you is free. You do not have to work up to be good enough for me. Simply come and rest yourself in me.
Call on me in your coming and going. Call on me in the darkness of the night. There is nowhere you can be that I am not right there with you. You are mine and I love you always. Come to me for your peace of mind. There you will find your solace in me. Come and lay everything inside of you, here by my side. We will sort things out together. We will handle every situation you face together. I am always here for you. Never feel you are not good enough – that is the voice of Satan. He only wants to push you away from me because he knows you will shine for me the more you enter my presence.
Bring me your sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving, remembering all the things you’ve seen me doing in your life. Remember all the things of the past and all you see me doing now. Lift these thoughts up to me now as an offering of incense to my throne on high. In return, I will pour out my love on you and fill you to overflowing of my love for you. This is how worship is done, this is how to receive my everlasting love. Return to your first love and let me pour out my love on you.
With all the things taking place around you, spend more time alone with me. This is where your center of gravity will be found, in my presence with me. Let me take every thought captive that doesn’t align with me. Let me take your fears and cast them into the sea. You were not made to carry fear in your mind and heart. You were made to spend your days glorifying me. Where has your mind gone to during these days? Are you focused more on the acts of man or are you focused on the greatness of I AM? Be a guardian of your heart and mind and do not let your mind stray even a little away from me.
How can I make you into fishers of men if you’re constantly letting the enemy pull you in? Let your mind be more focused on me and the promises I’ve made over you. Let your thoughts drift into my Word and dwell on my power and authority over sin, rather than the darkness of evil men. These things you cast your eyes and ears on will only fill your heart and mind with fear. They do nothing for your soul but fill you with fear. These things are not of me, so you must turn your eyes and ears away from it.
Let not your soul be corrupted by the lies of men. You think you are being informed, but your head is full of lies and fear instead. You have looked to the media god more than you have looked to me. Where is your victory in that? How can you be properly equipped to take on this world when your mind has been taken captive by it? I’ve said it once and I say it again, don’t look to man, but look to me instead. Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you my peace instead.
Solace – To take comfort; to be cheered or relieved in grief. Alleviation of grief or anxiety under calamity.

1Now the promise of entering into God’s rest is still for us today. So, we must be extremely careful to ensure that we all embrace the fullness of that promise and not fail to experience it. 2For we have heard the good news of deliverance just as they did, yet they didn’t join their faith with the Word. Instead, what they heard didn’t affect them deeply, for they doubted. 3For those of us who believe, faith activates the promise and we experience the realm of confident rest!
