Cast all your cares upon me for I deeply care for you. Come to me with your worries and burdens and let me care for you. I will help you to unload the things that have corrupted your mind and polluted it so thoroughly. My blood covers a multitude of sins and washes away the sin that resides within. There are things you have carried around within you that have weighed you down and burdened you. Why do you continue to carry them when you could easily lay them down at my feet? These things burden you so, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
Come to me for cleansing and let me blow new life into your veins. Come and let me reside within you and take ahold of the reins. Caring for you is what I love to do and show you just how much I love and cherish you. Release the burdens that you continually carry and let me take them from you. There is no reason for you to fret or worry, for your sins will be replaced by my grace and for my glory.
You are the ones I came to live and die for. You are the ones I gave my life for. This great act of love for you was to correct the action taken in the garden. What was done in the garden was an act of man’s will; they elevated a lie over my truth. This act of man’s will severed our relationship and caused evil to enter in. But I was born and lived for you so you could enter back in. My death on the cross and my resurrection was done for you. There’s nothing you could’ve done to make the way clear for you. It had to be my sacrifice that paved a new path for you. You have been given a new start in me. Don’t waste all that I accomplished for you by dwelling in your sin. Be done with it and confess it to me and let your new life begin in me. Let the things of the past stay buried in the past and get up on your feet and begin to live your life in me. Throw away the way you once lived and live your life abundantly free.
Take action now and don’t delay for this is how to live in YHWH. Keep your account of sin short and confess things immediately as soon as you recognize it’s sin. When you see something enticing you to sin, turn away from it and don’t even enter in. Turn away and come directly to me and ask my Spirit to supply you with power to resist within. It is by my Spirit that you will overcome and live in victory. Ask for more of me at any time of day and I will gladly give it to you.
1 Peter 5:7 The Voice
7 Since God cares for you, let Him carry all your burdens and worries.
Matthew 11:28-30 New Living Translation
28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
Psalm 51:7-10 New Living Translation
7 Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 Oh, give me back my joy again;
you have broken me—
now let me rejoice.
9 Don’t keep looking at my sins.
Remove the stain of my guilt.
10 Create in me a clean heart, O God.
Renew a loyal spirit within me.
Genesis 3:4-8 The Voice
Serpent: 4 Die? No, you’ll not die. God is playing games with you. 5 The truth is that God knows the day you eat the fruit from that tree you will awaken something powerful in you and become like Him: possessing knowledge of both good and evil.
6 The woman approached the tree, eyed its fruit, and coveted its mouth-watering, wisdom-granting beauty. She plucked a fruit from the tree and ate. She then offered the fruit to her husband who was close by, and he ate as well. 7 Suddenly their eyes were opened to a reality previously unknown. For the first time, they sensed their vulnerability and rushed to hide their naked bodies, stitching fig leaves into crude loincloths. 8 Then they heard the sound of the Eternal God walking in the cool misting shadows of the garden. The man and his wife took cover among the trees and hid from the Eternal God.
The story of humanity’s sin begins with a tree and ends on a tree: first, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil; and finally, the cross on which Jesus dies. The first tree offers fruit that leads to death, but the second offers a death that leads to eternal life.
John 3:16-21 The Voice
16 For God expressed His love for the world in this way: He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not face everlasting destruction, but will have everlasting life. 17 Here’s the point. God didn’t send His Son into the world to judge it; instead, He is here to rescue a world headed toward certain destruction.
18 No one who believes in Him has to fear condemnation, yet condemnation is already the reality for everyone who refuses to believe because they reject the name of the only Son of God. 19 Why does God allow for judgment and condemnation? Because the Light, sent from God, pierced through the world’s darkness to expose ill motives, hatred, gossip, greed, violence, and the like. Still some people preferred the darkness over the light because their actions were dark. 20 Some of humankind hated the light. They scampered hurriedly back into the darkness where vices thrive and wickedness flourishes. 21 Those who abandon deceit and embrace what is true, they will enter into the light where it will be clear that all their deeds come from God.
