Come close to me today and let me cover you with my hand and keep you protected from your enemies. Let me shelter you and keep you from harm as you come to me in prayer. I am closer to you than the very air that you breathe and my blood protects you from any weapon the enemy would form against you. You are safe and secure in my arms, protected from every weapon formed against you to bring you down and cause calamity. My might far exceeds anything the enemy can bring against you.
Wait here at my feet and come to me for everything you need. Don’t keep your eyes on the things that are meant to distract you, but keep a laser focus on me and all that I can do for you. Too many things capture your attention and focus away from me and keep your attention locked onto other things – things that won’t matter in the long run.
Press into me and bring every emotional thing that stands in the way of us being together today. Lay these matters at my feet and let me help you think correctly about each and every matter that causes you strife and pain. Let’s go through each matter, one at a time, because these matters hinder you from being one with me. Clearly see these obstacles for what they truly are and let’s jump these hurdles easily with me. Take every thought captive and bring it to obedience under me. It is under my blood that you have authority to win every battle of the mind.
Reach out for me and gain my understanding. Gain a perspective that you’ve never had before. Let me reshape your thinking and cause you to have the mindset of me. You don’t have to be a victim of these plaguing thoughts because you have the victory through my blood shed at the cross. Everything you’ve experienced I took at the cross and made it nothing before my feet. I am the supreme victor in everything and that victory now belongs to you.
Take the authority I’ve given you and cast down every argument that comes against you. Go to battle against these thoughts and cast them into the abyss where they belong. Take the necessary action each time they try to resurface and stand with your spiritual armor on against the advances of the enemy. Remain standing on the high ground with me, and keep your advantage on the enemy. You were made in the image of me and nothing can take that away from you. Stand tall my sons and daughters and stand tall with me.
Isaiah 54:17 New Living Translation
17 But in that coming day
no weapon turned against you will succeed.
You will silence every voice
raised up to accuse you.
These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord;
their vindication will come from me.
I, the Lord, have spoken!
Psalm 91:1-7 New Living Translation
1 Those who live in the shelter of the Most High
will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 This I declare about the Lord:
He alone is my refuge, my place of safety;
he is my God, and I trust him.
3 For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease.
4 He will cover you with his feathers.
He will shelter you with his wings.
His faithful promises are your armor and protection.
5 Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night,
nor the arrow that flies in the day.
6 Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness,
nor the disaster that strikes at midday.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side,
though ten thousand are dying around you,
these evils will not touch you.
Colossians 3:1-3 The Voice Translation
3 So it comes down to this: since you have been raised with the Anointed One, the Liberating King, set your mind on heaven above. The Anointed is there, seated at God’s right hand. 2 Stay focused on what’s above, not on earthly things, 3 because your old life is dead and gone. Your new life is now hidden, enmeshed with the Anointed who is in God.
2 Corinthians 10:5 The Voice Translation
5 We are demolishing arguments and ideas, every high-and-mighty philosophy that pits itself against the knowledge of the one true God. We are taking prisoners of every thought, every emotion, and subduing them into obedience to the Anointed One.
Isaiah 53:6 New Living Translation
3 He was despised and rejected—
a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief.
We turned our backs on him and looked the other way.
He was despised, and we did not care.
4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried;
it was our sorrows that weighed him down.
And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God,
a punishment for his own sins!
5 But he was pierced for our rebellion,
crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed.
6 All of us, like sheep, have strayed away.
We have left God’s paths to follow our own.
Yet the Lord laid on him
the sins of us all.
