Come and let my Bride be made holy and pleasing unto me. Let her put the things behind her that binds her and causes her heart to flee when temptation abounds. Stay with me and do not turn your eyes to the things of this world. Do not let your mind think as a man’s heart would go, but let your thoughts become one with me.
You’ve gotten so used to thinking one way, thinking this is the way it has to be, but I am here to say it doesn’t have to be that way. I am breaking you free from the old mindset that was never a part of me or my thinking. Cleanse your heart and your hands from the very things that pull you away from me. Make a new start by living your life completely free from the things of the past. See that living in me is a full-time job – not just when you feel inspired to look above and acknowledge me.
Come to me, your first love, on bended knee and give your life fully to me. Not just parts here and there, but your whole life to me. Rest your head here in my hands and let me cleanse your thinking. Let me break off the things that have held you down. There is no condemnation for those whose hearts are fully given to me. Cast all your cares upon me, for I care about what you allow your mind to think. I care about the thoughts that cross your mind. Do they line up with me?
Remember the Sabbath Day and keep it holy and set apart for me. Observe all the things I’ve commanded you to do. These things were designed for you to bring you into a position to worship and praise only me. Return to me, your first love, and observe everything I’ve commanded you to do. Keep your chin up and do the things I’ve told you to do and be obedient to me in everything you set your hand to. Don’t become weary in your day-to-day living, but daily surrender yourself to my teaching and leading.
I will never leave you, nor forsake you. I do not think like a carnal man. I am holy and I do not waiver back and forth like a wave on the sea. I am your steadfast, your constant one, and you can always count on me. So, look to me for guidance and direction each and every day and I will lead you always in the eternal ways of YAHWEH.
Philippians 3:13-14 The Voice
13 Brothers and sisters, as I said, I know I have not arrived; but there’s one thing I am doing: I’m leaving my old life behind, putting everything on the line for this mission. 14 I am sprinting toward the only goal that counts: to cross the line, to win the prize, and to hear God’s call to resurrection life found exclusively in Jesus the Anointed.
2 Timothy 2:21-22 The Voice
21 So tell them, if they will clean up their lives and purify themselves from dishonorable teachings that lead people astray, then they can become honorable vessels, consecrated and useful to the Master, made ready for every good work He has in store. 22 Timothy, run away from youthful desires. Instead, direct your passion to chasing after righteousness, faithfulness, love, and peace, along with those who call upon the Lord with pure hearts.
Romans 8:1-8 The Voice
8 Therefore, now no condemnation awaits those who are living in Jesus the Anointed, the Liberating King, 2 because when you live in the Anointed One, Jesus, a new law takes effect. The law of the Spirit of life breathes into you and liberates you from the law of sin and death. 3 God did something the law could never do. You see, human flesh took its toll on God’s law. In and of itself, the law is not weak; but the flesh weakens it. So, to condemn the sin that was ruling in the flesh, God sent His own Son, bearing the likeness of sinful flesh, as a sin offering. 4 Now we are able to live up to the justice demanded by the law. But that ability has not come from living by our fallen human nature; it has come because we walk according to the movement of the Spirit in our lives. 5 If you live your life animated by the flesh—namely, your fallen, corrupt nature—then your mind is focused on the matters of the flesh. But if you live your life animated by the Spirit—namely, God’s indwelling presence—then your focus is on the work of the Spirit. 6 A mind focused on the flesh is doomed to death, but a mind focused on the Spirit will find full life and complete peace. 7 You see, a mind focused on the flesh is declaring war against God; it defies the authority of God’s law and is incapable of following His path. 8 So it is clear that God takes no pleasure in those who live oriented to the flesh.
Proverbs 3:5-7 New Century Version
5 Trust the Lord with all your heart,
and don’t depend on your own understanding.
6 Remember the Lord in all you do,
and he will give you success.
7 Don’t depend on your own wisdom.
Respect the Lord and refuse to do wrong.
