Put away all your calloused thinking and soften your heart towards me. Let your heart become pliable and easily shaped by me. Raise your eyes and look me in the face. Set your heart and mind towards me and get back in the race. You are not an outcast – remember you will always be mine. There has never been a time or place where I didn’t accept you as mine. You gave your heart to me so it will always be safe there with me. Do not shut out the things that will only make you better. Do not put your hand up to my face and push me away. This hurts my heart time and time again. I am forever yours to call upon in your time of need and I will never leave you or forget you, for you are mine indeed.
Come to me and confess your sin and let me cover your sin. Let my blood cleanse every stain within and carry your sins away. You are not what you think you’ve become, but you are my child, instead. I have never abandoned you or thrown you away from me. Indeed, I have kept you close to me awaiting your call out to me. You’ve let your life return to your sins time and time again, but I will be here waiting for you as many times as it takes.
Spring up O well that resides deep within you! Let my well that’s been placed within you come alive once again. Let my water wash over your life cleansing you of the deep places of sin. I am your Deliverer and I take away your sins. Let the depth of your sin register within your mind and bring these things to me. Let me sort things out and make you new again. Come and lay your sins at my feet and never pick them up again. Repentance will bring a renewed heart to you again. Time is irrelevant to me and I will make all the time in the world for you. Realigning with me is where I want you to be.
Come to me and come as you are, there’s no need to get dressed up for me. I see you for all that you are not just what you see yourself being. You are my daughter, you are my son, and I will never let go of you – ever. I have covered you with my blood and I take you just the way you are. I see all that I created you to be and I will help you reach your full potential that I deposited within you long ago.
Let my resurrection life rise up in you. Let my love saturate your being. Let my goodness cover you from head to toe. It is the loving kindness that I have for you that will bring you back to me. I will never leave you nor forsake you to suffer in your circumstances of sin. I will come to your rescue and bring new life and beginnings to you. There’s no sin that’s unforgivable and nothing is too dark for me. For when you are in my presence, the darkness must flee. Give your life safely to me and let me bring my resurrection life to you.
Surrender your whole life to me, not just bits and pieces. I desire every part of you to become holy and pleasing unto me. I will sanctify you and breathe new life into your being. I will make you new again and set you upright in me. Come to me now and lay everything at my feet and let’s get rid of these sins that have been weighing you down. Let me cleanse every part of you and the things hiding within. Let this become a new day for you and a new beginning with me.
Hebrews 12:4-6 The Voice Translation
4 Among you, in your striving against sin, none has resisted the pressure to the point of death, as He did.
God “disciplines” His “disciples.” God is training us not just to live here and now, but to have life in the age to come, to share His life and holiness.
5 Indeed, you seem to have forgotten the proverb directed to you as children:
My child, do not ignore the instruction that comes from the Lord,
or lose heart when He steps in to correct you;
6 For the Lord disciplines those He loves,
and He corrects each one He takes as His own.
Hebrews 13:5 The Voice Translation
5 Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have because He has said, “I will never leave you; I will always be by your side.
1 Peter 4:8 New King James Version
8 And above all things have fervent love for one another,
for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
Romans 2:1-4 God’s Word Translation
1No matter who you are, if you judge anyone, you have no excuse. When you judge another person, you condemn yourself, since you, the judge, do the same things. 2We know that God’s judgment is right when he condemns people for doing these things. 3When you judge people for doing these things but then do them yourself, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? 4Do you have contempt for God, who is very kind to you, puts up with you, and deals patiently with you? Don’t you realize that it is God’s kindness that is trying to lead you to him and change the way you think and act?
Matthew 16:24-25 New King James Version
24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
