Sacrifice of your time is required to be one with me. You want to be one with me, yet you do not take the necessary time to dwell in my presence and communicate with me. These are things that hold you back from relinquishing your life into my hands. You are still holding onto the things of the past that once took hold of you, but never last. You must let yourself go in me and release your past into my hands. Do not listen to the lies of the enemy reminding you of mistakes and choices of the past. I do not condemn you – but lift you out of the pit instead.
Remember what I’ve done for you, focus your attention on the cross. See what it took for the forgiveness of your sin. Know that nothing higher could be done, but to sacrifice my very life so that all could come and live. Set your sites on the things above so that you may know my ways of love. You do not have to grovel when you come to me. I have shed my blood for you and all you have to do is come to me. I have done all the work for you to be acceptable in my site. There is no condemnation for those who are in me.
Remember who you are. Let that image be engrained in your mind. Let my love for you overshadow your mind and consume your soul. I died so that you could live a full and prosperous life, glorifying me. I died in your place so that you might bring me glory and bring others into my Kingdom. Life is not just about you, but expanding my Kingdom and reining here on earth as it is in Heaven.
Trust me now, as you did once before, and let me lead you into a life of more. More of my understanding, more of knowing who I am and all that I want to accomplish through you. There’s no better way to do that than coming closer to me. Come spend time alone with me each day and surrender to the life I have given to you to live my way. Do you love me enough to give of your life to me each day?
Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and the world will change all around you. My love will overshadow you and pour out through you all throughout your day. You will be my vessel of love, shining for my glory, looking only to me above. I will be your source for living and nothing else will do. The world and the things within it will pale in comparison to what you receive from me. Let me take you by the hand and lead you to a place of victory.
