Are you willing to sit at my feet and are you willing to hear what I have to say? Are you willing to be present here with me now and be saturated in my presence far from the public crowd? Are you willing to set time apart to be with me now and receive my words spoken to you? To be in my presence takes a sacrifice of your time and if you are willing to sit a while at my feet, I will overflow you with my presence and peace.
Come closer to me now and sit at my feet. Tell me the things that are pressing on your heart. Ask me if your heart is in the right place or if you’ve placed other things in the place of me. Let nothing separate us or keep a distance between us. Let no anger or rage, malice or disappointment, shadow your heart and keep you far from a place of intimacy with me. All these emotions you experience each day needs to be constantly checked with me to see if they’re okay. Let my Word be your guiding light that keeps your heart right with me. I am holy and it’s important that you bring these things that affect you to me.
Let me examine your heart and let me see all that plagues your mind. Let me help you to see what to do with everything that comes at you driving your day. Let me guide your thinking by the power of my Spirit dwelling inside of you. Ask my Spirit what to do with each and every thought that manipulates your mind. Lay these thoughts at my feet and let me help you sort them out. My Spirit will counsel you to think like me and know the right thing to do. I will never leave you to battle these thoughts alone, but I will speak my comforting words to you.
Do not let regret cloud your thinking. Confess your sins to me and let me clear your heart and mind. Remember my promises to you my children, and remember I remove your sins from you as far as the East is from the West. Just come and obediently confess your sins to me and I will cleanse your heart. You don’t hold onto anything. You just release them to me. I am greater than all your sins and your main job is to stay committed to me. Don’t continue to look left or right – keep your eyes and your heart focused on me.
Your life has greater purpose than fighting off the plague of sin and temptation. You are called to live far above these things. You are meant to rule and reign with me and bring the things of Heaven to the earth. Quit thinking like a second-class citizen. You are a son or daughter of the King of all kings and your royalty comes directly from me. Let not your heart be troubled by the situations that surround you. Bring all of these matters immediately to me and lay them at my feet. Come in the quiet of the morning before your day needs to begin and let me help you sort through your feelings and help your mind to be renewed. There is a great satisfying feeling knowing you can bring everything to me. For I will give you my mindset and help you live renewed.
